MEDITATIVE ART – MANDALA MAKING WORKSHOP The Mandala has a long history and is recognized for its deep spiritual meaning and representation of wholeness. This form of art has its roots in Hinduism and Buddhist Tantrism. You can try your hand at meditative Mandala at Studio Stitch. You don't need to be a professional. JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT Silent Hand Productions brings to you Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. The drama started on the January 25 and will go on till January 29. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a musical or operetta with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The story is based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Bible's Book of Genesis. Lionel Wendt, Guildford Crescent, Colombo 7.

CHATROOM AUDITIONS 2017 Audition for the stage drama Chatroom. Chatroom is a dark comedy by award-winning Irish playwright, Enda Walsh. AUDITIONS FOR SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK 2017 Are you good at memorising lines? Would you like to take part in Shakespeare plays? This year, for Colombo’s second ‘Shakespeare in the Park’ festival, two of Shakespeare’s plays currently being studied as texts by local O/L, A/L and University students, will be produced. Auditions are open to everyone above the minimum age of 11 years (The Tempest) and 15 years (Macbeth), and casting callbacks are at the director’s discretion. Royal Nelung Arts Centre, 81 Hyde Park Corner, Colombo 2.
