Peter Quill and his fellow Guardians are hired by a powerful alien race, the Sovereign, to protect their precious batteries from invaders.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 opens in theatres all and premieres at the Majestic Cineplex on May 5th.
Saturday, 6th May
Come May 6th, it is Free Comic Book Day at the JDA Gallery down at Horton Place. Which means we'll have lot of comics that we will be giving away! It's an international event.
Join a volunteer group to climb a mountain, lend a hand to the Gudppl to do good. Gudppl, are heading up Sripada for the Sripada – Cleanup & Garbage Free Awareness Campaign. Adam's Peak though a heritage and sacred site, is desecrated with pollution. A group of volunteers will climb the mountain to bring the garbage from the "Indikatu pahana" point down. Other volunteers will stay at the bottom working with local authorities handing out bags (to bring their garbage) & creating awarness.
Sunday, 7th May
Calling all local green groups, businesses and campaigns. Share ideas and products with the wider community. You will find things that are healthy, made in Sri Lanka, organic, biodegradable, compostable, energy efficient, recyclable, recycled, reusable at Eco Fair '17. The fait will be at the Women's International Club down Guildford Crescent, Colombo 7.
