Full’r Burgers.

If you like your burgers generously stuffed, Full’r is the perfect place for you. They currently have 3 outlets (Colombo 5, Nawala, Mount Lavinia) that deliver within a 5km radius via Uber Eats, PickMe Food or direct delivery when you preorder.

Something really cool is the inspiration behind the names of their burgers, it was really fun to know how they named them.

The Burgers

We tried four burgers that they sent over. They all featured an extremely soft, toasted brioche bun topped with both regular and black sesame seeds.

Grilling Me Softly was their take on grilled bbq chicken burger. It was coated in their inhouse bbq sauce and set on a bed of fresh coleslaw, which was the perfect accompaniment. The garlic mayo tied all the loose strings together to form an incredibly flavorful, juicy burger.

Captain Cool is another chicken burger that they make. The flavour profile here was completely different from the other one. This was a more sophisticated burger with a chicken patty that had been infused with chillies. This burger was loaded with caramelised onions, tomatoes, lettuce, an in-house spicy mayonnaise and yellow cheddar (cheesy goodness). They also told us that they used a pepper cream emulsion. This burger hit a home run in terms of flavour.

Hometown hero is their Lankan inspired beef burger consisted of a beef patty which was also infused with chillies, in-house spicy mayonnaise, caramelised onions, tomato, mixed greens and perfectly melted white cheddar. It also had a hollandaise emulsion, yummy! The caramelised onions were perfect to cut through the other sharp flavours and stand out, while the tomatoes and mixed greens kept it fresh.

That’s What Cheese Said – getting your hands on a good vegetarian burger is hard but this one was amazing. The cottage cheese was marinated with an in-house tandoori recipe and grilled to perfection. A very generous amount of paneer was placed on a tomato salsa and homemade sour cream. This burger was packed with flavour every single bite.

The sides

We also got some sides to try

Their French Fries were perfectly salted and perfectly crispy. They were thin fries, and done really well.

They also sent Onion Rings, which were a bit on the sweeter side. I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I loved the onion rings. They were so evenly coated in batter and fried to golden perfection. Paired with both the sauces, the orange sumo and green sumo, elevated the experience.

The last thing we tried was the Crispy Chicken strips topped with an in-house sauce. If you like KFC style fries minus the grease, you will love these.

All their burgers are priced between 800-1000 rupees, which is the standard price for a burger these days.

Conclusion

All in all, the Full’r experience was simply stellar!
