1. Virticle by Jetwing

This bar and restaurant are sure to take your breath away with their amazing views of both the ocean and the city skyline along with their mouth-watering dishes. The nice ambience of the place makes it a perfect spot for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion. The Prawns which include Green Chili Tomato Char-Grilled Prawns, Homemade Kurakkan Pappardelle Pasta,  and Coconut Garlic Cream is a good option to try out from their specially curated “homegrown” menu, maybe paired with white wine. Virticle also has many other great fusion dishes which are a celebration of the island, for you to explore.

2. Island Wraps

If you’ve been looking for a spot to grab the perfect wrap for lunch or dinner, Island Wraps is for you. They have a mixed menu of great wraps like the Tandoori Nai Miris Chicken Wrap and Lebanese Chicken and Hummus. If you haven’t tasted Hummus yet, Island Wraps is a good place to start because they also offer Fresh Hummus with Pita that will transport you to the Middle East. You can also definitely satisfy any wrap cravings with the variety of wrap choices Island Wraps offer.

3. Salmon and Maki

Who doesn’t love some good sushi as a pick me up? Really, there shouldn’t be any special occasion to indulge in some sushi but eating this delicacy of sorts when you are feeling down is guaranteed to bring your mood back up. Salmon and Maki is a Japanese fusion cuisine restaurant you can visit for a treat for yourself. If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely go for the Katsu Chicken Curry Rice that will warm you up. They also have endless choices in the variety of Sashimi, Nigiri Sushi, Hoso Maki, Special Maki Rolls and even Sushi Burritos that they offer.

4. Bombay Borough

This modern Indian bar and eatery will transport you to India in a whole new way with their amazing dishes. From the classic Chicken Tikka Butter Masala to the fiery Naga Ghost Pepper Wings, Bombay Borough offers a range of addictive dishes that you will keep going back to. Something you should definitely try out after all the spice is the sweet and creamy Amritsar Kulfa that will cool you down. Known as the traditional ice cream of India, Kulfa is a dessert that you should have at least once in your life. This fancy Indian eatery is sure to make a dent in your wallet but it will be well worth it.

5. Central cafe (Shangri-La Hotel)

If you haven’t seen the gorgeous aesthetics of the Central Cafe in your Instagram feed, you need to challenge the algorithm. The cascading waterfall of flowers is complemented by the various food terminals dedicated to India, Japan, Southeast Asia and the West. While you should try out all the terminals if possible, the Western terminal includes a classic butcher’s board with prime cuts of meat that you should definitely check out. They do have a smart casual dress code so make sure you don’t just walk in as you please.

6. Burleys

Burley’s is a high-end fast food restaurant that is known for its burgers. But they also offer more food options that are sure to blow you away. You should try their Biryani and the speciality drinks they offer. But their Corn Dogs combo includes a Fried Potatoes Corn Dog, a Hot and Spicy Corn Dog, a Puff Rice Corn Dog, all with half sausage and half cheese, and a Classic Corn Dog that only has a sausage is something that you should definitely try out. You can also get the Corn Dogs individually before committing to the combo. It will definitely be worth it.

7. The Traveling Bruncher

The Traveling Bruncher is mostly known for the excellent brunches they offer but less known is that The Traveling Bruncher is also a Restobar at night, especially since its open until 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s a perfect quiet spot to get away from the bustle of a weekend night and get over your hangover from the weekend with a hearty brunch. You should try the Kadey Vibe which includes Roast Paan, Homemade Beef Curry, Onion Raita and Mango Chutney. You can even get one of their burgers or kinds of pasta to go with your choice of alcohol available at the Restobar.
