The VW Beetle Club recently marked a momentous occasion with an extraordinary display of camaraderie and automotive brilliance during its highly anticipated Pride of Ownership Drive. Led by Patron Kapila Jayawardena and Club President Peter Jasinghe, along with the enthusiastic participation of 175 dedicated members, the event celebrated the timeless charm and heritage of the iconic Volkswagen Beetle.
Following the resounding success of the Pride of Ownership Drive, the VW Beetle Club is thrilled to unveil its plans for the upcoming celebration of World Volkswagen Day Rally, scheduled for 3 pm on June 16, 2024. In partnership with the esteemed BMICH, Mount Lavinia Hotel, and radio partner Legends 96.6, this year’s festivities promise to surpass all expectations. The celebrations will kick off at the BMICH and culminate at the prestigious Mount Lavinia Hotel, with a scenic drive down the Galle Road to the hotel. What better way for fathers to celebrate their day than at Mount Lavinia Hotel, witnessing the grand entrance of cars followed by an exciting Apé Kēma feast with their loved ones.
