Radisson Colombo’s Indian Night – Review.

By Sahasni Gamage

We recently had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful Indian Night at the Radisson Colombo, which was full of colorful spices, rich flavors, and kind service. As soon as we walked in, the warm atmosphere created the ideal setting for a delicious meal.

In order to provide a genuine experience of India, the buffet had an amazing assortment of Indian cuisine that were thoughtfully chosen. The chaat counter live station, which served freshly prepared, tasty chaats with the ideal amount of crunch, tang, and spice, was one of the highlights.

Salad and Starters

We started with a variety of delectable appetizers, such as Tandoor Seafood, Potato Chaat, Malai Chicken Tikka Salad, and the very cool Raw Mango and Coriander Shooter. A wonderful take on the classic drink, the Beetroot Lassi was a hit. The Mix Vegetable Salad and Green Mong Dhal Chaat gave our plates a burst of freshness, while the Tomato Rasam gave us a hearty and cozy start to the meal.

Mains

As we moved on to the main meal, we had an abundance of options. The rice was cooked to perfection, the meat was tender, and the mutton biryani was fragrant and tasty. The Kadai Seafood added a lovely burst of flavors, while the Malai Chicken Tikka was juicy and well-marinated. The vegetarian selections were also remarkable; dishes like Bhindi Do Payaza, Mix Vegetable Makhanwala, and Palak Paneer stood out for their genuine flavor. Freshly prepared naan and other breads complemented the soothing, homey aromas of the Dhal Fry and Kadhi Pakora.

Raita, papadam, lime pickle, mango chutney, chilli paste, and fried chilli were among the variety of sides that came with our meal and gave our food additional levels of flavor.

Dessert

Dessert is a must for any Indian meal, and the Radisson Colombo’s selection was excellent. With each bite, the smooth, sweet gulab jamun melted in the mouth. Rich, decadent flavors were provided by the Carrot Halwa and Payasam, while a charmingly traditional touch was brought by the Coconut Laddu and Kesari. The Tres Leches, which offered a smooth and filling finish, were also appreciated. There were fresh fruits like papaya and watermelon available for a light and revitalizing mealtime snack.

Ambiance & Service

The superb service was the real highlight of the evening, perhaps more so than the delicious cuisine. We had a seamless and delightful eating experience thanks to the Radisson Colombo’s attentive, amiable, and helpful personnel. They made sure we were comfortable all night long and were pleased to offer suggestions.

We got soft drinks to go with our lunch, and they went nicely with the flavorful and rich food. It was the perfect place for family and friends to get together and savor a traditional Indian meal because of the bustling yet laid-back ambience.

The Indian Night at the Radisson Colombo was an absolutely unforgettable event that combined the finest Indian food with friendly service and a wonderful setting. This buffet is a must-attend for any cuisine connoisseur, regardless of whether they enjoy traditional Indian dishes or are open to trying something new.

It’s definitely worth adding Radisson Colombo’s Indian Night to your list if you’re searching for a tasty, fulfilling, and entertaining experience.
