We dropped by Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta the other day, and it turns out it’s one of the city’s hidden gems. Their pizza definitely lives up to the hype, but what really surprised us were their other main dishes — every plate coming out of the kitchen looked and tasted like real comfort food done right.
The place itself is small but cozy, with warm lighting and simple, thoughtful decor that makes it instantly inviting. The music sets an easygoing vibe — loud enough to keep the energy up, but never so much that you have to shout to chat.

The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Overall, Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta is the perfect spot for a laid-back meal or a catch-up with friends over great food and an easy atmosphere.

Drinks
We started off with drinks, and honestly, they didn’t disappoint. First up was Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta’s Homemade Ginger Beer priced at Rs.450 and it’s nothing like the usual store-bought kind. Bold, spicy, and properly refreshing, it’s got that real ginger kick. Ginger lovers will definitely appreciate this one.

Then came our favorite the Chocolate Milkshake priced at Rs. 800. Thick, creamy, and just the right level of sweetness, it was completely worth the price. Easily one of the best milkshakes we’ve had in a while, and definitely something we’d go back for.
We also tried the Mint Passion Cooler priced at Rs. 650, a mix of passion fruit, lime, mint leaves, and soda. The combination was perfect, fresh, fruity, and just the right balance of tang and sweetness. Truly a heavenly drink.

Pizza
We went for a half-and-half pizza to try a couple of flavors at once. One half was the Pizza Con Pepperoni E Olive a classic pepperoni pizza with a tomato base, melted mozzarella, pepperoni, black olives, and mushrooms. The other half was the Pizza Fra Diavolo, made with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, prawns, and onions.
Both were delicious, but our favorite was definitely the Pizza Fra Diavolo. It had a slight hint of sweetness that balanced perfectly with the tangy tomato base and fresh mozzarella. Every bite was full of flavor, and we just loved it. The price varies depending on the size, but pizzas start from Rs. 1,950.

Pasta
We tried two pastas at Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta, and both had their own charm. The first was the Spaghetti Agliolio e Peperoncino Rossse priced at Rs.1510, this spaghetti was tossed with garlic, chili, olive oil, parsley, and fresh tomato. It’s simple, but the flavors really come through. The garlic and chili give it a nice warmth, while the fresh tomato keeps it light and fresh.
The second was the Spaghetti Alla Marinara priced at Rs.2250 tossed with olive oil, garlic, seafood, fish, herbs, chili, and tomato sauce. This one stole the show for us. The seafood was fresh, the sauce had depth, and the hint of chili added just the right amount of spice without overpowering anything.
Both pastas have a gentle heat, so if you like your dishes with a little kick, these are definitely worth trying.

Lasagna
We weren’t expecting to be blown away by the lasagna honestly, one of us isn’t even much of a lasagna fan. But the Lasagna Della Casa at Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta completely changed our minds. Priced at Rs.2500 it’s a layered, oven-baked dish made with fresh lasagna sheets and a rich, slow-cooked beef ragout, and it exceeded all expectations.
The texture was spot-on: soft, creamy layers that melted in your mouth, with a crust that added just the right amount of bite and flavor. The beef had real depth meaty, savory, and beautifully seasoned without being too heavy. Everything was balanced so well that you just wanted to keep eating.
This turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. If you’re already a lasagna lover, this dish is a no-brainer. And if you usually skip it? Try this one you might end up loving it like we did. It was genuinely that good, and we enjoyed every bite.

Ravioli
We also tried the Manicotti con Funghi, a dish of spinach ravioli filled with mushroom and parmesan, served in a cream and cheese sauce. Priced at Rs. 1,800, it sounded rich and comforting, and it certainly looked the part when it arrived.
The ravioli was soft and generously filled, and the sauce was creamy, with a subtle earthiness from the mushrooms. While the textures were nice and the flavors gentle, the flavors were more subtle compared to some of the other standout dishes we tried.

There are restaurants you visit once, and then there are places you keep in your back pocket the kind of spot you tell your friends about, or bring your family to on a Sunday afternoon. Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta feels like that. It’s family-friendly, but still perfect for catching up with friends over pizza and milkshakes.
The food’s made with care, the service is warm, and the space feels like a break from the noise outside. If you’re after good pizza, pasta, and a place that feels like home even if it’s your first visit Harpo’s Pizza and Pasta is well worth checking out.
