Klassy is one of the better pastry shops to go to in Colombo. The savouries are pretty good and we liked their cheese tarts and milk toffees. It’s a good stop for a mid-day snack.
We tried a bit of everything here – chocolate biscuit pudding, cheese tart, eclairs, patties, milk toffee, cake, juice. Just spent 500 bucks though. Pastry shop prices FTW.
The eclairs and biscuit pudding, two of my most favourite things in the world, are very sugary here but they’re not the best, but we still haven’t found a pastry shop in Colombo that does those right (though we heard Tasty Caterers has good eclairs). The chocolate cake we tried was alright, the milk toffee was awesome (Rs. 35) and so were the fish patties (Rs. 50).
Klassy is a good pastry shop. The seating space is comfy and well lit too, if you choose to stay and have your snack there. It’s definitely an easily accessible and reliable stop for savouries and for yummy milk toffees.
