UPDATE: Booking for Star Wars is now open at EAP Movies. You need to register, and note that the 7PM showing on the 25th is sold out.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will start showing in Sri Lanka on Friday, December 25th. They've just now started selling tickets.
EAP and Ceylon Theatres will both be showing Star Wars, which is the good news. The bad news is that as of right now (the 23rd) only EAP is selling tickets online. We do not recommend lining up at the location before a showing.
EAP (Savoy)
EAP has the screenings announced for Friday the 25th at Savoy 3D. As far as we know the 7 PM showing is already booked by Dialog so we can't recommend just showing up. Other show times seem available. Check here.
Ceylon Theatres (Majestic City, Arcade)
Ceylon Theatres will be showing it at MC Platinum and at Arcade, but again, no still way to get tickets before the date. At Arcade it isn't even announced, but they've said that they would start doing corporate showings on the 26th.
