Julian Marley (the son of Trishaw Poet Bob) is playing in Colombo this Sunday, which we’re pretty pumped about. We’re also giving away two free tickets today if you just comment on this page or like this post on Facebook.

I’ve obviously listened to Bob Marley and had heard some Damian, but I hadn’t heard Julian till now. So I listened to a few tracks. They’re pretty good. He’s obviously inherited his dad’s fondness for reggae, and social issues:
plus he can sing and the backing band sounds pretty ill. So it should be a good show. Tickets are Rs. 3,000 in advance (at Sugar, the Hilton or CH&FC) or Rs. 4,000 at the door. Which is pricey but that is kinda what it costs to bring quality international acts down.
