Here are 5 reasons to stay at Wild Culture Yala

01. The Lush Green view

Speaking of experiences out of this world, the views at the villa were to die for. The villa was surrounded with lush green paddy fields. You can even catch a sneak peak of the greenery from the comfort of your room. The endless green pastures can give you a sense of ease and calm and all your fuel shortage problems would be long gone.

02.  Quick access to the Yala National Park

The resort – Wild culture is situated at the heart of Yala and just a 15-minute drive away from the Yala National park. We left the villa at 5:45AM and entered the park at 6AM (The National Park gates open at 6AM) and fortunately for us, we were able to spot 4 leopards, which is an experience most wildlife lovers would cherish for a lifetime. Along with the leopards, we spotted a Bear, Elephants and other wild animals as well.

03. The dining experience

The food at Wild Culture is simply amazing. The Chefs offers will enrich your taste buds and fill your stomachs after a bumpy jeep ride to the Yala National Park. The menu at Wild Culture is widespread with the most popular items in the local Sri Lankan cuisine and foreign cuisines. Our personal favorite was the Mutton curry, which is one of the best mutton curries we have ever tried. We also enjoyed the endless Sri Lankan spread that they offered us during our stay.

Apart from this, the Chef and the staff are very accommodating and are happy to provide you with any specific food requirements you may have.

04. A Pool with a view

The pool overlooks the beautiful view of the greenery. The chilly breeze rushing over the paddy fields just surrounds you. During the day, you can take a dip in the pool and relax in the sun while enjoying your favorite drink. At night, you can sit by the Pool Bar, relax on the Easy Chairs and play music in the surround sound system to make the perfect evening chill session with your friends and family.

05. Luxurious Rooms

The rooms at Wild Culture Yala are carefully designed masterpieces. The décor and theme of the rooms draw their inspiration from the wildly magical Yala experience. Each room has been decorated and built sustainably, utilizing existing structures wherever possible, and opens up to magical views of acres and acres of lush green rice paddies. All the rooms consisted of all the modern amenities such as a Smart TV, Wifi, Tea/Coffee etc.

We had the chance to dip our feet in the center pond where hundreds of fish were there and had a relaxing fish spa session.

Wondering how to get to the resort? The drive to Wild Culture Yala takes about a good 3.5 to 4 hours if you’re taking the expressway. You need to exit from the Mattala exit which is the final exit of the southern expressway and turn toward Tissamaharama.
