Thaala Bentota, the famous Bawa-designed coastal retreat unfurled its highly anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony with an entertaining evening featuring mulled wine, delightful canapés, carols and the festive presence of Santa, bringing gifts and surprises for the children. Channa Ekanayake, General Manager of the hotel led the proceedings, providing insight into the property’s successful holiday season.
