Enter Délicieux by Manesha Peiris. I was recently invited to a bake sale at Amro Vegetarian Café by Manesha and was honestly skeptical about the taste of her baked goods after she mentioned she prepared all her items using key ingredients such as coconut milk and vegetable oil.
The KlubnikaHowever, I was pleasantly surprised by the silky smooth flavour of the Klubnika; a dark chocolate cake with a strawberry puree filling with a double layer chocolate coating, topped with fresh strawberries and dark chocolate sprinkles. I licked my spoon clean!
Besides chocolate cake, there were fudge brownies with almonds, mocha brownies with berries, chocolate rosette cake, death by coffee shots in marmalade & mochachino and black velvet cupcakes. All vegan, all delicious.
