Oh La La.

Oh La La does crepes – both sweet and savoury, and is a venture by Rollo Ice Cream in Liberty Plaza food court.

Food

Aside from crepes, they also do a range of savoury paninis. We opted for the Nutella With Brownie Crepe (Rs. 450), Cheesy Chicken Crepe (Rs. 400) and Cheesy Omelette Panini (Rs. 300).

Slathered with Nutella and stuffed with chunks of brownies, this was our favourite out of the three. A little bit more Nutella in the fray will surely take it a long way. But still, it was hella chocolaty.

The size of the crepe was quite small though, especially in comparison to the gigantic crepes you get from Crepe Runner for the same price.

They can certainly put more work into the Cheesy Chicken filling of this savoury crepe. It was cheesy with a tinge of spiciness, but a little more chicken and less onion would have made it better.
They've got some excellent bread for their Omelette Panini, which is all homemade, but the filling could use a bit more seasoning and elements – perhaps a handful of green chillies, or chopped up tomato? Fluffy, airy and soft, the bread was wonderfully grilled, producing that perfect crisp.

Drinks

As for drinks, we got the Kiwi Mojito (Rs. 300) and Oreo Milkshake (Rs. 300).

The Mojito was a refreshing treat made with the usual ingredients – lime, Sprite and mint leaves. However, we couldn't quite taste the kiwi flavour in this.

The Oreo Milkshake made us happy. Creamy and milky, every sip of this drink was packed with pure Oreo goodness. Definitely a good purchase to accompany your crepes at Oh La La.

Service

They're at the same counter as Rollo Ice Cream, and given that they're at a food court, it's self-service. Initially, we were told that crepes aren't available, which was quite off as we called them before dropping by. However, after a few minutes, a staff member came to us and informed that crepes are available.

The panini took the longest time to arrive – almost 30 minutes, but the rest was ready within 20.

Conclusion

All in all, they're all right. With a bit of work, they can make this stuff in-crep-able. Bliss out on that Oreo Milkshake!
