Edge Sri Lanka is an outdoors store run by Borderlands Sri Lanka, a camp in Kithulgala that makes it possible for a lot of us to get into adventure sports. It’s a good place to go get geared up for some epic outdoor activity.

The store is down busy Stratford Avenue, the kayaks on display are hard to miss. On entering the store, an automated lady robot voice will say ‘Welcome!’, more than one time if you don’t move — real homely. Among other things the place has got tents, kayaks, hiking equipment and dry-bags (to keep your stuff from getting wet if you’re rafting). Chamila at the store is very helpful, and if you’re a noob and stopping by he’ll be glad to help you with Borderlands pamphlets that carry details about stuff like hiking, white water rafting and abseiling in Kithulgala.
