Juiceez does a great range of juices, but they also do a lot more.
It was my first time stepping into Juiceez in Battaramulla, or any of their branches for that matter. I was expecting nothing more than just a cash counter and a little stall serving juice – like they have at roots, but Juiceez is a lot more than just a juice shop. They’ve got fresh fruits, vegetables, jams, special types of rice, even plant seeds and specialized indoor plants are on display.
There are quite a few employees working here, I think I counted at least 5. They are quite friendly and they really liven up the place even if you’re the only customer in there.
They’ve got a pretty good range of juices; pineapple, woodapple, mango, avocado, watermelon, orange, papaya, lime, tamarind and they also do a lassi made from their own CIC curd. Unlike roots though, they don’t have an extensive menu (no smoothies), they do a pretty good juice though – I had a delicious pineapple juice for Rs. 140.
The place is well maintained and the interior is quite charming. They do a really good juice and it’s a lovely little place to stop by if you’re ever in the neighborhood; a wonderful twist on the farmer’s market.
