Well, the wait is finally over! The Big Bad Wolf is back for another year!
Much like last time, it's conducted online, via lk.bbwbooks.com. However, this time around, they've partnered up with the e-commerce giant, Shopify to ensure a smoother shopping experience.
It was supposed to launch this morning (the 3rd of November), but the kind wolfie likes giving surprises. The sale went live last night itself and is scheduled to end on the 10th. Therefore, you have 8 consecutive days to shop to your heart's content.
With about 60000 books to choose from, you're spoiled for a choice here. Everything is neatly placed under appropriate categories, so it's easy to browse through.
Personally, I'm excited to explore the Biographies and Memoirs section — it's massive this year with many interesting books. The Romance and Young Adult departments seem to have a lot to offer, along with a number of modern classic collections such as Maze Runner, Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments etc. The cookbooks section look great as well — with the works of Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson etc.
There's an entire section dedicated to the books of Nora Roberts, Stephen King and Cassandra Clare and Rick Riordan. You can find them under Featured Authors.
Most of the books are entitled to a discount of 75% – 95%, and the average price of a book varies from Rs. 710 to Rs. 850. But you can find tonnes of books under and above that range.
