For a limited time, Executive Chef Patrick Buttgereit invites you to gather your loved ones at Sapphyr Lounge for a whimsical afternoon filled with luxurious treats comprising of the freshest savouries and patisserie using the finest seasonal ingredients. Culinary Collaborations
Shangri-La Colombo will launch a series of culinary collaborations; the very first featuring notable restaurateur Dao of Dao Krua Thai, a well-loved Thai restaurant here in Colombo. For 5 days only, Dao will take over a culinary station each night (and weekend brunch from 19-20 November) at Central, Shangri-La Colombo’s all day dining restaurant to create some of her signature dishes.

Musical Journeys
Unwind and enjoy a melodic Sunday with Musical Journeys by Shangri-La. Presenting a range of local performers including Oriental music by renowned musician Manoj Peiris, Saxophonist Gananath Dasanayaka, Flamenco Guitarist Thamal Amarasena, vocalist Sanghavy Thangasamy and a string quintet curated by Sound Scope; the day will see each artist performing for 60 – 90 minutes. Relax in contemporary lobby lounge style with views of Colombo as you rendezvous with family, friends or business associates tucking in to the Afternoon High Tea that will be available from 11.00 am to 6:00 pm.
The evening crescendos with the soulful tunes of singer Romaine Willis at the Capital Bar & Grill terrace with a sumptuous BBQ dinner prepared by the culinary team.

Keeping with the spirit of Shangri-La Cares and giving back to the community, Shangri-La Colombo will drive a community service project to donate 1825 lunch packs for the support staff at Lady Ridgeway Hospital. Cooked by the Shangri-La colleagues themselves there will be 01 lunch packet for each day of the hotel’s operation (365 X 5) and was prepared, packed and hand delivered by the colleagues supported by the Management Team.
