If you thought the Transformers fandom was dead even before the 2018 release of the Bumblebee movie starring Hailee Steinfield, think again.
An exclusive meet and greet of Bumblebee was held at the One Galle Face Mall on the night of 21st January. There was even a cosplayer in the enthusiastic crowd gathered there!
The general public were also able to meet Bumblebee over the weekend and get a chance to greet and take photos with their favorite Transformer. Another attraction is the Chevrolet Camaro, an embodiment of Bumblebee, that was on display, a must see for any car enthusiast.

Clearly Bumblebee was very happy to meet a replica of himself.
The crowd was eagerly waiting for the main event, the Bumblebee meet and greet.
This was a pre-registration event and only those who registered were allowed to drop in.
This was the first time this bot made an appearance in Sri Lanka and the team at One Galle Face wanted to share that experience with their shoppers.
