Start your weekend with your nose in a book or by picking up or letting go of some books at the July Book Swap. On Friday drop in at Sooriya Village with books you would like to give away or exchange. You can mingle with like minded folks and nibble on food and discuss books. The event starts at 6 PM today at The Sooriya Village, No. 49, Skelton Road, Colombo 5
How about this for a Saturday? A Bar Crawl is what you need. Experience Colombo's night life when you embark on a joyful ride around the most sort after pubs and bars. You will visit Floor By O, Vu (Best Western), Manchester and Flamingo House. Cocktails for the night include Johnnie Ginger and Captain Cola. The Bar Crawl starts off at 6:3o PM on the dot at The Manchester, 100/10 Independence Avenue, Colombo (Next to Agra).
And on Sunday go for a run. We hope that works for you after a Bar Crawl. The good thing about the CCR City Run 5K is you can run your own race. Participants can opt to run, run-walk, power-walk or walk to complete the distance. The run starts at 6:30 AM at the Independence Square.
