Stoner's Korner
A mouthful of meaty, gourmet burgers by Stoner's Korner is probably the best thing for you to kick off this weekend. Available for delivery through PickMe Food, this home cook makes some amazing burgers with brilliantly executed beef and chicken patties, paired with homemade sauces, and gooey cheddar. Our favourite was the Stoner's Chicken Joint Burger – a tower-like burger with two flavourful patties – Nai Miris and Sweet & Onion.
Nakbin's Thai Fusion
Nakbin is another home cook who has a knack for Thai Fusion. Their Thai style Prawn Curry is certainly something that you don't want to miss. Oozing out with a lovely lemongrass-y hint, its gravy is creamy and has a lot of curry flavour to boot. Try pairing it up with the Kankung In Garlic Sauce stir-fry, and you're in for a treat.
Barcode Grill & Lounge
Now, this is our recommendation for a fine weekend tipple. Barcode Grill & Lounge in Nawala has the most amazing set of meat platters which are easily sharable between 3/4 adults, while sipping on a glass of anything boozy that you brought on your own.
We absolutely enjoyed their Tandoori Platter – a generous spread of four full chicken legs, lamb, Tandoori Roti, Bhuna Aloo, Onion Raita and Prawn Chaat.
Flayvors
Flayvors's take on flavourful CBP is interesting and value for money. We highly recommend their Milky Heaven, which had silky layers of rich, creamy chocolate, adequately sogged up Marie in between, and lots and lots of chopped up roast cashews and grated chocolate. Wonderful!
