Where To Eat This Weekend (21st of February 2020).

From mie goreng and ginger beer-infused narang juice to killer crab curry and smoothie bowls, these are our top picks for this weekend.

Revolution Colombo (Trillium Boutique City Hotel)

Perched on the rooftop of Trillium Boutique City Hotel, Revolution Colombo offers a vista of the Colombo city skyline paired with some incredible food with a Mexican-touch to it. They've done a fine job putting everything together, so every aspect of our experience here gets full points. My personal favourites include Pollo Chicken and Naranja Beer. 

Lau Pa Sat (One Galle Face)

Lau Pa Sat at One Galle Face is the one-spot for curing your Singaporean cravings. They do a solid Mee Goreng that features chunky, crispy prawns hiding in between the masses of perfectly prepared noodles, and we loved their Salted Egg Yolk Prawns too. Make sure to grab a portion of their Goreng Pisang and Vanilla Ice cream, which is basically the best sweet note to end your meal here. 

The Willow

Kick-off this weekend in a healthy way by opting for a beautifully crafted smoothie bowl by The Willow. These smoothie bowls are too pretty to eat, but their flavours are simply irresistible so we ended up gobbling down two of them. 

Big Daddy's BBQ

As the name implies, Big Daddy's BBQ is specialised in barbecued meats, which they grill at their al-fresco ambience. There are many reasons why we like them, and it's not just meats, but also this killer Sri Lankan-style Crab Curry accompanied by Roast Paan and Pol Sambol.

Paan Paan (Dehiwala)

Paan Paan recently opened their newest branch in Dehiwala, and we were happy to pay a visit. Their bread is fresh and delicious as they can be, and while they can improve on the fillings department, it's an ideal option to check out if you're in the area and craving for a quick bite.
