Playtrix is where you should drop by for a happening weekend. Their giant 18 ft screen is ready to broadcast Formula 1 this Sunday and 16 hours of nonstop Champions League games. All these, with some great food and cocktails offered with sweet deals.

YAMU's go-to spot for budget tipples, 1979 now has a new branch in Dehiwala too. Their take on Kalu Pol Pork curry is simply amazing, and the HBC is also a must try. And, it's BYOB!

We highly suggest you check out Tea Avenue this weekend, especially for the excellent high tea. For Rs. 2200 for two, their 3-tier platter has a wonderful assortment of savouries and sweets – from Kochchi Cutlets and Smoked Salmon Baguette to Chocolate Cakes and Mango Panna Cotta. Grill Kitchen
Grill Kitchen is a solid spot to get some grilled meats, for a very affordable price. For example, they offer 10 beautifully made wings showered in sesame seeds for just Rs. 900. Superb!
The Avenue
Feeling a bit fancy this weekend? Check out The Avenue. With a menu that has bits and bobs of Asian, Sri Lankan, Western and Italian fare, along with an interesting range of coffee, mocktails, cocktails and other liquor, it's a bit pricy, but a good option for a fine upscale dining experience.
