We’re coming out with our next edition of YAMU Print next month (November 1st). It’s going to be pretty cool. We’re accepting advertising until October 18th.
Despite being called 2.0, it’s our third issue (we’re counting from zero). Here’s how the scene has evolved.
Issue 0.0 (September 1)

Our first test issue just had a bunch of reviews, edited and formatted for print. We distributed around coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and public spaces around Colombo.
Issue 1.0 (October 1)

Our second issue had the usual reviews, plus a list of delivery phone numbers, taxi numbers and a handcrafted Colombo bus map. This was the first issue to run ads, for Paan Paan, Gerard Mendis, Shiraz, Trekurious, MyWish.lk, and more.
Issue 2.0 (November 1)
Circulation: 5,000

For this upcoming issue we’re reaching our cruising circulation of 5,000 copies, all over Colombo and a bit out of town. We’ll also tighten up our listings, making the mag a useful resource to keep in your pocket or car. I think we’ll also add a few events from this issue.
