Flood Relief is ongoing but not especially coordinated. The best thing to do at this point is A) give cash to reputed organizations (we list some below) or B) coordinate with people on the ground for what they actually need (see the ReadMe list here). To repeat, either
While a lot of goods are coming in, distribution remains a problem. This means vehicles, but also boats for affected areas. Sarvodaya has mentioned a specific need for this.
You can help with flood relief by making your donations to the following charities. There are many needs and different collection points. If you find more, do include them in the comment section.
The simplest thing to do is to donate online via Sarvodaya or Red Cross Sri Lanka. Both are reputable and have experience in this type of relief.
You can also donate online through Sri Lanka Unites, Daily Mirror or Takas. Otherwise please go through the list and find something close to you. Whatever you're doing, please coordinate with people on the ground (see contacts here), but also be aware that they may not have time for that much coordination. If in doubt, give cash which can go towards what's actually needed.
Sarvodaya is a long-established and recommended organization. They are also one of the few places where people (including those abroad) can donate online. You can donate online here. Locally, they are partnering with Siyatha TV, Siyatha FM, Varnam TV, Varnam FM, Kiss FM and Real Radio to support the affected people. An appeal from the National Shoora Council
The National Shoora Council acknowledges with great admiration the yeoman service rendered up to now by the several Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs), Community Based Organisations (CBOs), the Police, Armed Forces and the government Agencies to the distressed people affected by the floods and landslides in various parts of the island.
The initial exercise which is still continuing is focussed on saving lives and providing those affected with food and temporary shelter. The NSC thinks that what is being done is the first step in disaster management and there are the secondary and tertiary steps which remain to be implemented. Attending to the immediate needs like health, hygiene etc. and the long term solution of facilitating their return to their homes.
There is a huge task in front of all of us as responsible members of civil society. The NSC therefore, fervently appeals to all Corporate entities, NGOs, CBOs, philanthropists, individuals and others to come forward at this time of need of the people. There is so much that needs to be done and so little is being done constrained by resources. The disaster stricken people out there are waiting in anticipation that you will come to help them.

This is my testimony about the good work of a man who helped me…My name is emily davson, and I base in California. My life is back! After 15 years of marriage, my husband left me with our three kids. I felt like my life was about to end, and was falling apart. Thanks to a spell caster called Dr agbas who I met online. On one faithful day, as I was browsing through the internet, I was searching for a good spell caster that can solve my problems. I came across series of testimonies about this particular spell caster. Some people testified that he brought their Ex lover back, some testified that he restores womb, some testified that he can cast a spell to stop divorce and so on. There was one particular testimony I saw, it was about a woman called Victoria, she testified about how Dr agbas brought back her Ex lover in less than 72 hours and at the end of her testimony she gave Dr agbas e-mail address. After reading all these, I decided to give Dr agbas a try. I contacted him with his via email address and explained my problem to him. In just 2 days, my husband came back to me pleading. We solved our issues, and we are even happier than before. Dr agbas is really a talented and gifted man and I will not to stop publishing him because he is a wonderful Dr…If you have a problem and you are looking for a real and genuine spell caster to solve that problem for yours.
