The application deadline for the Imago Mundi 2016 edition of Sri Lanka has been extended - the current date is now set for the 29th of February. They are still in need of artists to join in for a cultural mapping in the form of an artnographical collection of what will largely compile the South Asian region.
The collections of Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are in the process of being organised by Amanullah Mojadidi, the Afghan-American artist assigned to organise one of the largest collections of art ever initiated.
Aman is currently setting up his installation for the Dhaka Art Summit and is in the process of completing the next edition of Imago Mundi in Bangladesh. Kavan Balasuriya is the project coordinator for Sri Lanka and can be reached on 766 824 254.
For more information and to submit your applications, email Aman and Kavan on email@example.com. Currently there are artists and designers operating on the island ranging from many different spectrums of creative professions. These range from painters, illustrators, architects, and various schools of design. The applicants whom have sent in their submissions will be assigned their canvasses within the next week, and will be contacted in the coming days.The official submission and collection date for the completed canvasses will remain as April 15th.
