Life as Art, an exhibition a sale of photographs by Chatrini Weeratunge will be held at the Barefoot Gallery. The exhibition is in aid of Emerge Lanka Foundation to support girl children who have survived sexual abuse. ‘Life as Art’ will showcase a collection of photographs by Weeratunge that capture the intrinsic beauty of the world around her highlighted through the subtleties of light and colour. These images offer an insight into the lives of those she photographs.
The photographs will be available for sale across a range of prices, with all proceeds set to go towards Emerge Lanka Foundation’s Reintegration Programme for young survivors of sexual abuse.
TIP On the 29th, the exhibition is on from 10 AM - 7 PM and on the 30th the exhibition is open from 10 AM to 5 PM. So if you can't make it on one day you could most definitely go the next day.
