Why We’re Obsessed: – This insta-worthy café is known for its little glasses of matcha made in heaven. The small but cozy spot looks like a matcha fan-favourite with many five star ratings and “Never disappoints!” & “Amazing quality” in the reviews. Some even go to call it the “Best Matcha in Sri Lanka”. This is in addition to the highly praised ambience, superior staff service and vibrant food. There’s a high chance you’ll come for the vibes and stay for the chlorophyll.

Why We’re Obsessed: – They take home the prize for the most affordable matcha. But, don’t let the cheap price tag fool you, reviews say that this matcha slaps. There is only one item on the matcha menu which is a Matcha Latte sweetened with Australian bee honey. But customer ratings suggest that they execute it perfectly. This cute café also has some adorable and delicious desserts up for grabs making it a chill spot for a date or hangout with friends.

Why We’re Obsessed: – One thing’s for sure, they love their matcha and it shows. They do only matcha-based drinks at the moment but reviews say that they do it right! This is a perfect option to get your green fuel in without leaving the house. A good plus point is the option of choosing the kind of milk you would like added. Their motto is “Calm in a Cup”. Spot on if you ask us!

Why We’re Obsessed: – Our love is frothing over this adorable café. Apart from the delicious food and snug vibes, they also have some solid matcha choices available. Reviews describe their matcha-based drinks as worth-trying, very flavourful and well-crafted. Having a warm cup of matcha at KIKU definitely should be on your to-do list for the week.
