These are the regular requirements to fly a drone. https://www.caa.lk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=731:drone-regulations-application-forms-and-pamphlet&catid=79:news&lang=en&Itemid=1619

These regulations were always there, probably applied more strictly (especially for small drones) after the bombing. And under Emergency Regulations, LE can arrest anyone who looks suspicious to them. So, better stick to those regulations if you are planning to fly a drone.

Drones were banned post Easter attacks. You better look up whether they've reversed it.

Sri Lanka bans flying all pilotless aircraft including drones http://www.colombopage.com/archive_19A/May05_1557070705CH.php

No operation of drones in Sri Lanka until further notice http://www.colombopage.com/archive_19A/Apr25_1556174432CH.php
