Tuk Tuk Advertising

Hey Yamu this question is for you

I remember when you guys were starting out i saw a few took tucks with yamu stickers posted on them

This was a really innovative and low budget (assuming) way to advertise your start up brand !

Could you guys help another start up company by telling us how you did this ?

1) How did you get the tuk tuks was it from an agency or did you directly find & speak with them ?

2)On average how much does the driver charge to have the sticker pasted and for how long ?

3) where did you get the stickers printed from and how much does it generally cost ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Hey Tutu. Well, we went through an agency first but they don't exist anymore. When we did it on our own we paid each driver Rs. 500 to paste the sticker. We just went to places like MC and Crescat and asked them. We don't really know for how long they stayed on, but it seemed to be about a month. That's really just a guess.

Sticker printing we got from Anim8, which was expensive but reliable. You could get cheaper. For that it's best to check anim8.lk and get their rates. I think it was about Rs. 200, but again just a guess.
