Chili paste is a beloved side to Sri Lankan meals, especially with Lankan-Chinese food.

Ingredients

  • tbsp of Sugar
  • tbsp of Soy Sauce
  • g of Dried Shrimp
  • g of Chilli Flakes
  • cloves of Garlic
  • pinch of Salt

Method

  • Heat oil on a pan.
  • Add dried shrimps.
  • Grate garlic.
  • Cook til golden brown.
  • Add chili flakes.
  • Add salt.
  • Add sugar.
  • Add soy sauce.
  • Cook to a thick paste.
