Murunga Curry

Here's how to make a mouth watering murunga curry.


  • grams of Murunga
  • tablespoons of Oil
  • sprig of Rampe
  • Red Chillies
  • Green chillies
  • cloves of Garlic
  • Onions
  • tablespoons of Fenugreek seeds
  • Tomato
  • tablespoons of Tumeric Powder
  • tablespoons of Salt


  • 1 Curry Pot


  • Add oil into the pot.
  • Add chopped rampe, red chilies, green chilies, garlic cloves and onions.
  • Temper the mixture
  • Add fenugreek seeds
  • Add a tomato
  • Mix well and add the murunga.
  • Add tumeric powder, salt and thin coconut milk
  • Place lid on pot and allow to cook for 10 minutes
  • Place lid on pot and allow to cook for 10 minutes
  • After 10 minutes, add thick coconut milk
  • Let it simmer and take off the heat
