Salmon Gravlax

This recipe needs to be left overnight for flavours to absorb, but the end result will be worth it.


  • cup of Sugar
  • cup of Salt
  • tablespoons of Peppercorn
  • g of Salmon
  • slices of Oranges
  • cup of Parsley
  • cup of Dill


  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Bowl


  • Chop parsley and dill finely
  • Add the salt and sugar into a bowl and mix well
  • Take the salmon and completely cover with the chopped herbs
  • Sprinkle peppercorns over covered salmon.
  • Squeeze orange juice and place slices on top of the salmon.
  • Evenly spread the salt and sugar mixture on the salmon
  • Refrigerate for 24 hours
  • After 24 hours, peel off the ingredients and rinse the salmon thoroughly
  • Carve thin slices and serve with your choice of carbs and vegetables
