PorKen Deli comes in handy on those days that you are completely exhausted to cook, or when you want to reward yourself with an occasional indulgence of a meal cooked in a home ‘away from home’, or even if you are having some friends/family over and you would rather spend time with them than in the kitchen.
Despite being a meat-centric hub, PorKen Deli hasn't left out the vegetarians. They've got a few veg-items on their menu, such as Dhal curry – Pol Sambol combo, Tempered Potato and Bean Fry. How thoughtful!
How To Order?
Ordering these goodies are pretty easy. You can get in touch with them through their social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram) or Website for orders and more details. Their delivery areas include:
- Galle Road – from Colpetty to Mount Lavinia
- Colombo 05, Colombo 07, Colombo 08
- Battaramulla, Nawala, Nugegoda, Kohuwala, Pepiliyana, Boralesgamuwa, Maharagama, Delkanda, Narahenpita and Thimbirigasyaya
However, on special occasions and for larger orders, they go beyond these areas.
Since the food is cooked for the occasion and with no preservatives, the orders need to be placed one day in advance. But, when it comes to staples like Black Pork, Red Pork, Chicken curry, Pepper Pork (Pork Bistake) or Pork Bedum, they do same day deliveries as well. They also entertain pickups, however, dine-in is not available at the moment.
They assure that the quantities they serve are much larger than the ones you get in restaurants as the meats are skinless and boneless, so it's 100% consumable; not an ounce of it will go to waste. Plus, the rates are nett; therefore it's a total win!
