Where To Watch The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Ten countries are battling it out for the ICC Cricket World Cup this year. A six-week tournament hosted by England and Wales, 2019 Cricket World Cup series began with the victory of England over South Africa yesterday (30th).
The Sri Lankan cricket team enters into the grounds tomorrow for their first match in the series. Here's where to watch it on the live screen, while kicking it up a notch with some booze and bites.

Next Innings

The latest venture by the popular trio – Chef Dharshan Munidasa and the cricketing stars, Mahela Jayawardena and Kumar Sangakkara, Next Innings is a sports bar in Colombo. Tomorrow is their Ultimate Saturday, as they're screening not one, but two sports encounters – World Cup and Bradby Shield. Grab a slice of their Neapolitan pizza and a pint of beer while you catch them in action.

Yet another sports bar in Colombo, Playtrix now resides in Colombo City Centre. They've got a great space with non-smoking and smoking areas, filled with TVs and one giant HD screen to rule them all – allowing you to catch the game in every angles.

The Irish

One of the relative newcomers to the watering hole scene in Colombo, The Irish Bar & Grill has been able to keep up with the happening vibes. Here, you can watch the live game with sweet deals on food and drinks, starting tomorrow.

Cheers Pub (Cinnamon Grand)

Cheer on your favourite team as you watch the game at Cheers Pub! They've got a special menu this time, featuring traditional dishes from the participating countries.

The Lion Pub

The Lion Pub is one of a Mount Lavinia's oldest food establishments and has since become somewhat of a landmark. During this World Cup season, they've got a bunch of promos running – from beer to other spirits.

Loft Lounge Bar (Colombo Court Hotel)

One of the prettiest boutique hotels in Colombo – the Colombo Courtyard is screening World Cup series from today (31st May) at their very own bar – the Loft Lounge.

Nom Nom Asia

Nom Nom Asia, the sister restaurant to Thai Heritage Food Truck is offering a bunch of specials during their World Cup screenings. Head on over there with your own drank and they'll provide you with a large seafood bucket – that comes with cuttlefish, prawns, crab, corn cob and a selection of Thai sauces. If that doesn't interest you, they've got some solid BBQ meats too.

The Manchester

With a whole bunch of new bites, The Manchester is having their World Cup screenings these days. It's a great place to drop by with friends and get the rowdy on, laugh out loud and not have to be all uptight and uneasy.

The Dutch Pub

The Dutch Pub lies right next to Fairway Hotel in Fort, and does some good tapas and cheap booze to go with it. This time around, you'll be able to catch the game on the big screen while enjoying them. Make sure you try their Devilled Pork – it's superb.

The Lounge Bar (Concord Grand)

If you're around Dehiwala, check out the score from Lounge Bar in Concord Grand.
