The STITCH Movement is a non-profit youth-led volunteer movement in Sri Lanka. In December they spend 12 days visiting children's homes and elders homes, spreading some Christmas spirit in their project 'Christmas With Love'. They entertain the residents, spend time with them, and finally distribute gifts.
Gatspy 2013 will be taking place at Havelock Grounds on 8th December from 6.30pm onwards.

Run For Their Lives is a charity run organized by the Rotaract Club of Colombo Uptown in order to raise funds towards the purchase of medicine for the National Cancer Institute, Maharagama and bring about awareness of the plight of cancer patients in Sri Lanka. This event will take place on the 8th of December at the Independence Square from 7 AM onwards.
The Poetry P'lau has been gathering every first Saturday of the month in 2013, marking two years of activity. The Next Very Poetry P'lau is on December 7, 2-6PM at the Hansa Cafe, 24, Fife Road, Colombo 5.
Nethu Dahasak is a musical eve featured by singers who are visually impaired, in order to raise funds for the welfare of visually impaired student society of University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
