Fried Chicken with Munchee Crackers

Here's a super easy recipe for crispy fried chicken, dipped in creamy honey mustard sauce.

Portion: 2 - 3 people

Ingredients

Chicken Prep:

  • 1 chicken breast (sliced into strips)
  • Flour (add some chilli powder for spice)
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 5-6 Munchee cream crackers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Honey Mustard Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Mayo Sauce:

  • 2 tbsps mayo
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • chopped parlsey

Method

  1. Cover the Munchee biscuits with a cloth and bash with any sturdy cooking implement until broken into crumbs
  2. Season chicken strips generously with salt and pepper
  3. Coat chicken strip with flour
  4. Dip in egg
  5. Coat with Munchee cracker crumbs
  6. Place in a shallow pan over medium heat (make sure the oil is hot)
  7. Fry until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes on either side)
  8. Put ingredients for Honey Mustard sauce into a bowl and mix into a smooth paste
  9. Do the same for the Mayo Sauce
  10. Serve fried chicken with the sauces for dip
