How To Make Lunu Dehi (UYAMU)


Lime pickle is a classic side to make your meal more exciting. Here's how, to the tune of everyone's favourite Gypsies song.

Serving: 5 people

Ingredients

  • Limes - 3
  • Salt - 4 tsp
  • Chili flakes - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp 
  • Vinegar - 5 tsp


Method

  1. Boil limes for 3 minutes
  2. Slice limes at the center
  3. Stuff limes with salt
  4. Get a tall jar, add vinegar 
  5. Add sugar
  6. Add chili flakes
  7. Now stuff the jar with the limes 
  8. Close the jar and shake it well
  9. Keep the jar in a warm place for 3-4 days before eating
