The Mount Head Shop is a tiny place past Templars Road with a good selection of rolling papers, pipes, bongs and other smoking accessories.
For years, smokers only had the Lauries Road Smoke Shop to get papers, pipes, lighters, etc. Then Quickee.lk arrived, enabling people to get at least papers delivered. Now there’s a new physical head shop in Mount Lavinia, on Galle Road, just past the Templars junction.
The Stuff
Smokers have a basic need for rolling papers and they have a lot of those. Flavored, hemp, OCB, big, small. The OCB clears are Rs. 500, you’ll end up paying Rs. 200 upwards, depending.
Smokers also need pipes and bongs, they have a range of these from Rs. 1,000 up for glass pipes, Rs. 3,000 for plastic bongs and more for proper glass ones. They also say that they’re getting vapes in (a new wave of smoking which heats but doesn’t burn).
Location
The shop is tiny and up a flight of stairs on Galle Road. It has room for the stuff they’re selling and can fit about four people at a time. It’s in Mount which is pretty far, unless you live around there.
Service
The dudes working there are quite nice and generally in good spirits.
Conclusion
The Mount Head Shop has a good collection of papers, pipes and other smoking accessories. It’s farther from the town center than the Lauries Road shop, but they have a better selection of bongs and pipes and it may be closer to you.
