Burning Bird is a concept kitchen by the ever so popular Bavarian German Restaurant, the holy grail of German food in the city. In here, they do some fantastic chicken wings – smothered with delicious homemade sauces, and deliver to your doorstep. We absolutely went nuts for their hella spicy Atomic Jalapeño & Sriracha Wings.
Toppgun Burgers
Craving for a tall, meat-filled, tower-like burger? Checkout Toppgun Burgers. They're a new burger joint in Thimbirigasyaya. These burgers are generous with meats, and delicious too, but make sure to get yours with less sauce for a better flavour and texture.
Ports of Call (Taj Samudra)
How about some brunch this Sunday? Ports of Call at Taj Samudra has one of the finest brunch buffets in Colombo. Priced at Rs. 4200 per head, this brunch spread is comprised of an impressive range of soups, breads, meats, cheese, sushi, BBQ and many other things.

Grill Kitchen is a solid choice for some good BBQ, and an affordable one at that too. From what we gathered, their menu now has more juicy, grilled meats for you to devour.
Epi-Q Express Gourmet
With a mix of waffles, crepes, pizzas, wraps, rice-varieties and ice cones, Epi-Q Express Gourmet has a lot to offer. It's a nice spot for a cosy hangout with some juicy gossip. We quite enjoyed their Peppered Beef Pizza and highly recommend the Choco Berry Crepe.
