Elephant House – Feel Good Range.

We all grew up eating Elephant House ice cream, whether it was to wrap up a family dinner, to celebrate or even to wallow in pity.

Elephant House has been the epitome of comfort ice cream. As we grow older and have different views in life, like setting new motives to eat cleaner, stay fitter and just generally exercise a healthier lifestyle – Elephant House also takes steps to help us out.

Elephant House came out with it’s Feel good range – This consists of 2 frozen yoghurt flavours and 2 No added sugar ice cream flavours. We got our hands on some yum!

This froyo also had added probiotics because of the yoghurt, so the no added sugar plus probiotics makes this treat a no brainer to try! And all the reduced calories that I won’t have to consume…

1. Mixed Berry Frozen Yoghurt

This yoghurt was so rich and creamy, it was delicious. They did not have any added sugar which was not even noticeable to be honest. They had added pieces of fresh fruit in it, which gave it that extra sweet kick. Even the colour was so visually pleasing. You could have it at any time of the day, it was not just a dessert, it was a perfect snack.

2. Tropical Mango Frozen Yoghurt

I usually prefer all things berries, but this mango froyo was superb! The fresh mango flavour paired with the yoghurt/ice cream base, truly special. This also had fresh mango bits throughout. I finished the whole 500ml tub in one sitting and felt no remorse whatsoever. It was a perfect treat for this humid weather.
Both these flavours are available in 500ml tubs with environment friendly packaging, which also received a big thumbs up! Each tub is priced at Rs 370/- and is found in all retail stores now.

3.Vanilla Ice cream

The vanilla ice cream is plenty sweet even without the added sugar and allows the vanilla flavour to shine through exceptionally well. Usually vanilla ice cream is a pretty basic flavour for me and I tend to stay away, but I did go for second servings with this one.

4. Chocolate ice cream

Sinfully chocolatey. Again with no added sugar – which makes me think all the extra added sugar is not necessary at all because this was creamy, rich and perfectly chocolatey – everything that a chocolate ice cream should be! It was a perfect treat in this hot weather.
Both these tubs are again 500ml tubs priced at Rs 275/- and are found in all retail outlets. You will not regret your purchase.
