6 Hotels to Visit in 2022.

The new year calendar year has some really nice long weekends to look forward to, here are some hotels that may interest you in case you need a getaway!

1. Hilton Weerawilla

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and slip away into a tranquil space surrounded by greenery and a lake – this is the place for you. Boasting an outdoor pool with a view of the lake. There are also two restaurants, three bars (one of which is by the pool), a spa, and a fitness center, as well as parking and breakfast.

Hilton Weerawilla is located on the banks of the Weerawillla lake, six kilometers from the Weerawilla Tissa Sanctuary.

2. Araliya Unawatuna

The sister hotel in Nuwaraeliya is very well known, so Araliya Hotels have now stepped into the waves and opened its doors in Unawatuna too.  Overlooking the gorgeous sandy shores of the southern coastal line – Araliya Unawatuna is perfect for a beach fiend.

3. Sheraton Kosgoda

Kosgoda is known for its Turtle Conservation Projects and now for Sheraton too. This hotel is banked by lush greenery and has pools nestled in the middle. The balconies also overlook the Kosgoda beach – the sunsets are serene.

Their All day dining restaurant S Kitchen is very popular among the local patronage and defenitely worth a visit if you are a foodie.

At Sheraton – the rates on the weekdays will be LKR 33,888/- on full board for a double and on the weekends LKR 40,888/-

4. Cinnamon Bentota Beach

Along the Bentota beach front, Cinnamon Bentota Beach is a mini oasis with 60s inspired dutch architecture, that is surely a view you will like. It includes four foreign restaurants/bars with outdoor seating provided, as well as an eatery on a pontoon boat accessible for private use. A spa, a sports complex, and water sports facilities, as well as two outdoor pools and children’s activities, all available at the resort.

6. Tallala Blue Beach
