Sweetest Therapy whips up some of the best cheesecake you can get your hands on. Her cheesecakes are made with the high-quality ingredients, so you know these cheesecakes are good. Sweetest Therapy is a home-baker based in Colombo 2 and she does her cheesecakes on pre order basis.
We got to try 3 flavors that she offered
All 3 cheesecakes featured the same biscuity base, no bake cream cheese layer and a very generous layer of flavor. Her holiday menu did serve a brandy infused biscuity base but I opted out of it.
Passion fruit cheesecake
This passion fruit curd was just incredible. Smooth, velvety and thick – it was the perfect balance between sweet and sour. The passion fruit curd did not over power the other components, everything complemented each other perfectly. Hands down one of the best passion fruit cheesecakes in Sri Lanka.
Blueberry cheesecake
Blueberry cheesecake is one of the most widely served cheesecake flavor in Sri Lanka, but no one is generous with the blueberry compote like The Sweetest Therapy. Absolute bang for your buck – these cheesecakes are of the finest quality and worth every rupee. Everything was in the perfect ratio and it was incredible.
Pecan cheesecake
This was on their holiday menu – the pecans were turned into a candied pecan brittle and placed on the cheesecake. The entire experience was divine. The different textures involved in the cheesecake – wow! Such a unique flavor and sometimes hard to get right, it was honestly chefs kisses. Thinking about it has me drooling.
The cheesecakes offered at The Sweetest Therapy are a bit on the pricier side, but it is worth every rupee. She uses some good ingredients that the price is honestly reasonable. You will not regret trying these cheesecakes that is for sure.
