Bohemian Quest product review.

 By Piyumiji Dangalla

We received a few amazing products from Bohemian Quest, a business that brings you quality organic ingredients from all over the world.

You can order them by simply checking them out on their website or giving them a call. What I love about them, is that they ship  your products within 24 hours with a 100% money  guarantee or replacement on faulty products.

1. Peanut butter

The peanut butter was rich and soft in texture. Just  to satisfy my curious palette, I even made a  peanut butter and chocolate coconut spread  sandwich and it was delicious. Keep in mind this  peanut butter is sugar free and may not hit your  usual sweet spot if you are someone with a sweet  tooth. However, this peanut butter spread is  perfect as a healthy snack or as a breakfast meal.

Price – Rs.1250/=

2. Coconut cacao spread

With no doubt this should be my favorite product  out of all. This coconut cacao spread is the perfect  compliment for any cupboard. Creamy and

smooth! This can be used as any of your favorite  jams . Whether it be on toast , on a biscuit or on its  own! It’s stunningly scrumptious.

Price – Rs.500/=

3. Chickpea Fettuccine

Fettuccine is a type of pasta popular in the Italian cuisine. It’s a thick and flat pasta traditionally made of egg and flour.

As a pasta lover , I like to try as many as different  kinds of pastas and this was my first time trying  chickpea Fettuccine. The advantages of having  this dish are it’s made out of good kinds of carbs :  complex carbs . They’re higher in fiber, they  digest slower and help you feel fuller for longer.

The pasta itself was great in terms of taste and texture. Normally when you think about  “organic “ you expect it to have a tasteless earthy texture when they’re cooked. But I was pleasantly surprised after making this dish. It maintains its shape well after  cooking and tastes amazing too. Its a bit pricey in comparison to your usual pasta but for the quality and health benefits, its worth it!

Price – Rs.2200/=

4. Oat milk

For all my friends who’s in their weight loss  journey, Definitely should try this oat milk.  Because Oat milk is known for weight loss since it  is a low fat , low sugar and low calorie beverage.

A few advantages of oat milk if I have to mention are that it’s a great source of Vitamin B, may lower bad  cholesterol and great for bone health! It’s also a  great choice for people with certain food allergies  and intolerances as it’s naturally free of nuts ,  lactose and soy. This oat milk is equally delicious  in your cup of tea or cereal.

Price – Rs.2300/=

5. Royal white Quinoa

Quinoa is a grain – like seed which has become  popular all around the world not only due to its  nutritional profile but also its unique , delicate  texture and flavor. Quinoa has a slightly nutty  flavor and is a good substitute for rice! It can also  be ground into a flour for use in baking.

Suggested uses of this product are:

• As a substitute of rice

• Use as a base of salads or breakfast cereal • Bake into breads , crackers or desserts

I tried this out with my cereal and it was super light  and fluffy and this type has the most versatility.  White quinoa also has the mildest flavor!

Price- Rs.850/=

6. Quinoa spirals

Quinoa spirals are naturally gluten free. It is a  well suited dish for human nutritional needs and  essential for a well balanced diet and wellness and  also is a delicious penne pasta , perfect for your  whole family !

This penne pasta is easy to cook and can make  many different dishes using Alfredo Sauce, garlic  & oil and even tomato sauce!

The main reason I loved this pasta was because it  absorbed the sauce well.

What’s better than having your most favorite food  that taste good and also good for your health? And  that is why you should definitely try this product !

Price – Rs.1900/=

7. Vanilla Dreams

Vanilla is a common tea flavor that gives a slightly  sweet , dessert – like taste to teas. They are tasty  on their own.

I used one tea bag and made a normal plain tea  and it tasted great with the smell of vanilla! You  might need a lot of sugar if you’re a sweet tooth.

But in my opinion it might work better with milk and  sweetener. (Price – Rs.500/=)

8. Greens Powder

Are greens powder good for you?

Green powders contain high levels of vitamin and  minerals associated with maintaining a healthy  immune system. It is also filled with fiber and  minerals but also low in calories. Hence having  green powder can have tremendous benefits ,  including helping with weight loss , promoting a  healthy heart and reducing the risk of cancer!

However green powders are not a substitute for a  well balanced diet and cannot replace the  nutritional benefits you get from Whole Foods. But  it is a great way to supplement a healthy diet with  a boost of extra vitamins antioxidants.

There are a several ways to have your drink  powder.

The most common way is to stir the powder into  water , juice or milk and smoothies, before your  workout , before you get to sleep or anytime of the  day!

But if you’d rather not drink it , you can add your  green powder to your omelette, or as I did you can  make a simple healthy porridge for breakfast!

Price – Rs.3500/=
