Celebrating Colombo in all its glory is easy. With its bustling traffic, fairly languorous people and scenic snapshots to make Tumblr fall at its feet, it is.
And considering the fact that most of us reading this are from here, we think it's safe to say that you already know this. The past events have had a lot of us straying from things that we'd usually go all out on, which is where this particular event comes into play.
Colombo Fashion Week is hosting an international food festival in conjecture with their Swim Week, commencing on 3rd August 2019 at Park Street Mews and Dutch Hospital with all respective restaurants participating.
Food has always created a unique bonding, no matter who you are or where you from. If you enjoy a good spicy meal, head over to Celebrate Colombo Food Festival and grab a chilled Coke (or two) with your favourite dish for that out of the plate gastronomic dining experience like non-other!
A week's worth of festivities including art, fashion and food, the event works to uplift, unite and bridge people.
Coca-Cola is planning to carry out the following activities to spice up the event more;
1. Competition for the Restaurants
Three restaurants; Chambers, Monsoon and Café Français on the block will be going head to head to create that single signature dish of the day that pairs best with a Coke. The catch being that it's not just the restaurants that have the chance of winning a prize when the day has come to an end. Followers are also allowed to join in the fun by voting for their favourite dishes on the Coca-Cola SL Instagram page (@cocacola_sl) to stand a chance to win something exciting as well!
2. A Competition for the Gram
Take on the Gram by taking a picture of your favourite dish of the day with the Coke photo frame and tagging @cocacola_sl with the hashtags #CokeWithFood and #CelebrateColomboWithFood to stand a chance to win yet another prize before the end of the day.
Also, you can watch as your favourite Instagram Influencers take a stand to Celebrate Colombo on their channels and follow the tags #CokeWithFood and #CelebrateCokeWithFood on Instagram so you don't miss out on anything.
The last perk of Celebrating Colombo is none other than having lots of Coca-Cola to make things heaps better! So, join us from the 3rd to the 10th of August at Park Street, Dutch Hospital, Kingsbury and Cinnamon Grand to fall back in love with Colombo.
