We haven’t tried TGI Fridays yet, but a few friends have. Right now it only seems to be open from 6-9 PM as they sort out some teething problems. We called (112337501 is the Friday’s number) and they confirmed. It will be fully open next Thursday, the 31st.
There’s a full review on the Kalu Sudhdha blog, and it’s not too good so far. Some friends went last night and they said the food took hours to arrive and that the lights went out.
On Twitter, etc there has been considerable (bad) buzz so we’re giving them some time to sort things out. Friday’s is a chain so they should just be following a manual. At the same time, the food is quite expensive for Sri Lanka and they need to deliver to a high standard. Here’s hoping they get it together soon. We’ll have a review up within a week.
