The Weekend Round Up.

It’s the weekend already and here’s a glance at what’s happening in Colombo.

Friday 13th June

The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

In this play Zolidias, who is Zoldias you ask. Don Zolidias is the guy who wrote The Brothers Grimm Speculathon in 2007 based on the classic fairy tale recorded by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm in 1812. What is interesting is Zoldias has managed to squeeze all 209 Grimm fairy tales into a fast-paced, rollicking whimsical comedy that turns all the tales on their heads, where the audience is always kept guessing about what will come next. 7.30 PM at the Bishops College Auditorium 15, Boyd Place, Colombo 03, Colombo.

Saturday 14th June

It’s no ordinary cat. It’s a talking cat. Not only that the cat is a sophisticated single lady cat. That’s the talking cat we’re on about. It’s a bag toting fashion plate.
