Sugarland is a tiny little bakery in Havelock Town, located behind The Souq and Lil’ Orbits. Unlike some of the palatial bakeries you get here (BreadTalk, etc.), they have very little space – like two perches or so.
Yet from this small space, they sell some very nice cupcakes. These don’t come in many flavours – mainly just vanilla and chocolate – but they’re all quite good. Simple and sweet, and with some pretty toppings.
They do eclairs, cakes, sweet drinks, etc. It’s not a big chain, so the guys are actually friendly and nice to their customers.
These aren’t exceptional or fancy cupcakes. You won’t get deep fillings of decadent chocolate, or cream cheese frosting and red velvet. But they’re nice, and they’re done well and with care. And they’re also somewhat affordable at just Rs. 90.
