Aussie Swim Store (in Crescat Mall) does vibrant, comfy, designer-made resort wear and swimwear for women, men and kids. They stack up quite an extensive collection from swimwear to cool and funky jewellery.
The Collection
They have many ranges of swimwear for ladies from bikinis to one-pieces to maternity swim dresses. The collection also include a plus size range. If you’re buying a two piece swim suit you can get the bra top and pant in two different sizes depending on your measurements (Rs. 3500 per piece). Their one piece suits would be Rs. 6,000 upwards.
They do a good collection of resort wear from kaftans to wraps. If you’re like me, and don’t know what resort wear is, it’s basically posh clothing for warmer climates.
There’s a collection for men and kids from Rs. 3,000 upwards. In addition there are flip flops from Arugam Bay, rattan bags and hats, some imported and some made locally. Also sunblock from Rs. 2,300 upwards.
They also have a newly added jewellery collection which includes semi precious and hand crafted pieces imported from Turkey and Indonesia. Prices would be Rs. 1,600 upwards.
Ambience
As soon as you enter the store you feel overwhelmed with all the colors. It’s so vibrant. I felt like grabbing a swim suit and running off to the beach. It’s on the basement floor of the Crescat Mall.
Conclusion
Aussie Swim Store is a cool place to shop for designer swimwear if you don’t mind the prices.
