15 Instagram Travelers in Sri Lanka.

Apart from being a good way to stalk someone, Instagram is a great space to show your love of friends, food, travel, dogs, cats, Robert Downey Jr and everything else. We at YAMU have compiled some of our favourite Instagrammers, collaboration accounts and YAMU staff, that capture the essence of Lankan travel.

Country Roads

The accounts featured below cover beautiful landscapes, mountains and scenery that make you want to pack a bag and take a nice holiday.

Sophia captures Sri Lanka through the eyes of a tourist. Her account is filled with elegant pictures and documents her travels around the world.

Dinidu runs a blog dedicated to beautiful landscapes around Sri Lanka from enchanting forests to mountainous regions.

Rishada

Rishada's Instagram consists of portraits of civilians in different parts of Sri Lanka, but capturing emotions is not the only thing she does- she also includes some behind the scenes of some of the most mainstream pictures taken, such as this one from Nine Arch!

The next set of accounts have mastered the art of street photography. If these don't make you want to step outside and appreciate our country then damn, son. What are you doing with your life? Unless of course your amma won't let you.

Nazly Ahmed

Nazly is a photo hobbyist whose Instagram is filled with colourful interpretations of everyday life in Colombo. His feed might make you a bit hungry though because he's got some solid pictures of isso wade.

Amalini De Sayrah

Amalini's Instagram is one of my favorites so far. It's not just the photos that appeal to me, but the captions that accompany them. She brings up social issues and shows so much passion in her work. It's truly inspiring.

Yasas

Yasas is a traveller and his Instagram is his proof. He's collected beautiful photos from all over the World.
